For months, we have heard various Republicans suggest that there may be a need for a revolution or that they might have to secede. They have talked about the oppression of the Obama administration and the fear that it is turning into a dictatorship.

Criticizing Gays for Demanding Rights

In the past few days, I have come across a lot of posts that criticize those in the gay rights community for being infuriated over things done and not done by the Obama administration in regard to gay rights.
“Give him time,” someone said. “He’s only been in office 5 months.”
Five months is apparently long enough for Obama’s attorney general to submit a brief defending a law he claims to want repealed, using inflammatory language that equates gay marriage to incestuous marriage.
“He had to defend the law!” it was argued, something others dispute.

Bullies Grow Up to Be Republicans

The media has recently publicized the tragic suicides of two young boys who killed themselves after being tormented by bullies at school. Jaheem Herrera, an 11-year-old from Georgia, hung himself. His mother described him as especially upset about being called gay. Carl Joseph Walker-Hoover was another 11-year-old boy who saw an extension cord as the only out from daily harassment at his Springfield, Massachusetts, school. He was often accused of being gay. These are not the first or likely the last of America’s children to kill themselves as a result of bullying.

We are all familiar with the acrobatic leaps of logic Rush Limbaugh takes—feats stunning in light of his ever-expanding massive girth.
As everyone knows, he recently said he hoped Barack Obama would fail. Should Barack Obama fail, millions of Americans will spend the next four years wondering how they will pay their mortgage or feed their children.
