You have to keep in mind that the only Socialists in Africa are the pukes at the top or the former leadership of the Nationalist party in South Africa.

That's because the Europeans controlled the keys to higher education so any local guy smart enough to learn to read and write was probably going to learn quickly enough to mouth the Socialist platitudes they demanded as the price of admission.

The ordinary people who live the life and pay the bills, and die in the many wars, have no illusions and are quite Reaganite in their outlook.
