Despite the huge excitement and anticipation surrounding Obama's first trip to sub-Saharan Africa as president, only relatively small crowds came out to meet him in Ghana's capital.

What's wrong with that sentence?

I mean, c'mon! Obama should have the entire continent eating out of his hand. Right?

Maybe they remember his earlier campaign stop with Odinga?

I suspect this is the case, Ghana doesn’t want the repression that Obama fostered on the East Africa Side of the Continent.
