IMHO these people don't care who they offend. Parents have a duty to make sure their children are dressed well when they are representing this country. So I blame the parents for leaving their daughter wide open for the remarks.

I don't attack children usually unless they are my own. I went through all kinds of dressing stages with my older children. I usually didn't say too much unless I found the shirt to be beyond acceptance. However at 11 yrs old I did say what my oldest daughter could wear & my youngest daughter, Sassy is not going to be dressing like I see teens dress now. I don't care how much she whines or cries.

We are in agreement. The parents are in control. They allowed the offensive symbol to be worn. Hey, maybe mnbc will complain about the complaints on this thread about how the peace symbol represents those who spit on Vietnam Vets! They’ll change history too! They too might say it’s all okay now because it ‘means’ peace, even though we know it brings back bad memories to Vets. They are the lowest rated network for a reason. :-p
