No, but he successfully distanced himself from them and got the press to roll over for him, which is just as good. When the mainstream press covers for us the way it covers for Obama and other Democrats, we'll be able to get away with what they get away with, too.

That's simply untrue. We don't know whom he talks to in private re. Ayers; but he did not give him any public role. And Obama and Wright have been sniping at each other publicly. I'm sure they are both quite sore about the mutual embarrassment.
