We genuinely DO need to collapse, completely, as a society.

Relax, this is simply evidence of our wealth, not our bankrupt morality.

That makes much more sense.

This will be great for people with larger dogs that can’t go in the cabin — pets can get extremely stressed in the cargo hold, and it can easily be deadly for pets that are elderly and/pr have serious medical conditions. And most airlines strictly limit the number of pets that are allowed to travel in the passenger cabin at one time, so it can actually be very difficult to get even a small pet on with you. I have a feeling this may be a successful venture, especially if they’re able to add more cities fairly quickly.

A pet-shipping service is a good idea, but I’m not too fond of the no-humans policy.

We had to ship our three (at the time) cats from California to Virginia. It was very traumatic for them, and it was very hard for me and Hubby to see them so upset. But they got there in good time, and the service included door-to-door delivery. They all survived the flight, but I think it would have been better if we both could have accompanied them on the plane and in the same cabin. It just wasn’t possible at the time.

(Hubby was in Virginia at his new job, and I was in California packing.)

I hope they make it but they are going to have to add cities quickly, lots of cities. Like some one said, if they would fly dogs AND owners.
