Thomas Jefferson observed it, and has noted it well! Obama is nothing different. His type have been doing what they do for as long as man has inhabited the earth. Although I'll have to admit that I wish he had been cut off with the rest of Cain's bloodline!

threeTwo suggestions on that topic go along with stramlining the government:

3. All (Legislative) Actions & Bills.
....All Laws; Must be tried / implemented on the Whole Congress & Staffers
and the Government Bureaucrats (for three whole years.) as a 'test run'.

It seems as if Sarah is defeated. Which upsets me greatly.

Don't be upset. If you listen to what Sarah said, as opposed to what the talking heads are trying to say she said, you would know that she is neither defeated, nor is she quitting.

One of the quotes she used was, "We are not retreating; we are attacking from a different direction." Although that quote came from the last century, the concept is from The Art of War. She wasn't depressed; she was enthusiastic. She doesn't need to disclose all the details, and wouldn't be prudent to do so. That's sufficient for me, for now. I can't wait to see how she proceeds. That will be a few more weeks.

>>You are?????? What sites? I’m with you!<<

Not on any particular site, just on web blogs I come across and can give my opinions in the comment section. But I’ve been following Herman Cain for years, he’s seasoned, bonafide conservative, well educated, well articulated, extremely experienced in the business world and even though he once ran in a GOP primary, I don’t believe he’s ever held elective office so he’s definitely an outsider like Palin.

I heard she called Giuliani and Crist for advice.

Thanks for providing the link but your source says that on may 7 she called Cheney, on may 8 called crist about a vacation in alaska, and on may 8 called guiliani about a speech rudy was to give in alaska and later went to a yankees game with rudy.

Early may is too early to be talking about resigning. furthermore, no way would she consult crist, cheney and rudy on a single subject. They are way too diverse for that.

I understand where you’re coming from and I concur with your point of view, but I don’t think it will be a death knell for her.
I think most people recognize a hopeless battle and would hardly fault someone for taking a new approach or different angle at the same problem. With her no longer serving as Governor, the media by attacking her make themselves look petty. Not to mention the legal aspects now available to her as a civilian versus a public position. It will be much harder for them to continue with their slander/ libel against her (or at least, hopefully, more expensive...)
I expect (and accept) we probably won’t agree on this, but there are many benefits to her taking the course she did.
And 3 years is a very long time, especially when it comes to the memory and opinions of John Q. Public...

Time for someone who walks the walk as well as talks the talk.

One name comes to mind, Oliver North. I personally would walk to hell and back for a Palin/North or a North/Palin ticket. If this country is to be saved, no more halfa$$ed attempts. Go for it and go for it 100% full throttle petal to the metal, we have been screwed enough.

I am all for taking Congress back. I just see some advantage on having a President figurehead for the period of high unemployment and inflation that we are entering. If we win back POTUS but not Congress the Republicans will once again be blamed for everything.

The situation is so grim that simple strategies won’t work. We may already be Venezeula.

It only took 157 posts before a picture was posted of Sarah Palin. Yet, the board has been (almost) ONE-sided in it's choice. She is a diamond in the rough, with a lot of polishing already complete. Her cut seems to be flawless, and there is no doubt she is genuine.

I am proudly behind her, and will ask all who will to donate to always donate to FR, but also the SarahPac. Thanks Jim.

FreeRepublic is our mainstay. We come here in the morning, afternoon, in the middle of the night to find out what is new in the world. We look at Drudge for headlines, and gather any tidbit of interest of fellows, but we come back to see how we think about it. We massage those threads which need help, and we tweak those needing tweeking.

We get to play pin the tail on the Zot, and pass time arguing whether it's Kyle or Tony, Junior or Jimmy. We find bits of obscure information and turn them into national notoriety, while we obsess over which type of barbecue is superior. We have Catholics and Protestants telling everybody else they can go to Hell, while telling each other (practically) the same thing (disclaimer: I am a Protestant Christian).

Most of all, we gather news of our country, and celebrate it's value. While others are bent on turning us into a third world dictatorship, we know that LIBERTY is taught here, and we ather around our campfires.

September is around the corner. Plans are being made to meet in Washington. Make sure it is worth doing! Support FreeRepublic not just with dollars. We need active members walking the streets, and manning the polls. We must meet this evil with our goodness.

I support Sarah because she is just like me, in many ways. I am not a woman. But, her thinking is clearly towards her family, her country, and she displays a heart bent to God. She talks straight, and she blows the rest off the screen. Look at last week, for a prime example. She is still in the top of the news.

I support Sarah Palin for whatever she plans to do. She is in this game for all of us, too! If you like her thinking, please donate to SarahPac today. Tomorrow, you may forget and spend it on a Slurpee!
