She’s plenty tough. I’d like to see you or anyone else in politics take the onslaught that she has taken. The only person in America to get it worse is GWB for eight years, and that was frankly a whole lot less personal than the attacks on Palin.
She did not quit because people don’t like her that is absurd for Keane to say. She didn’t quit because of the heat. She’s been taking it all year. She completed some big projects - namely the pipeline, and stepped aside. I am not convinced it was the right move, but it is her move to make. She has a year and half left on her term, and it was time to either declare for reelection or decline running again. She determined this was the best option. If she does enter the national stage, we will see what she is made of. Keane is off on this criticism, regardless of her future ambitions.
Exactly, and I quite agree. I look forward to see what Governor Palin will make of her career from here, and she may at some future date get my vote. But not just yet.
