I love the Terhune books too!

For some reason the Rough collie has fallen out of fashion. You don't see nearly as many of them around as you used to. Maybe nobody's reading Terhune anymore?

Not enough free time to brush them, perhaps. Now that I’ve removed all carpet in favor of vinyl and pergo, I DON’T CARE about shedding. I think my next couch will come with a slipcover, though.

At least some of the Terhune books were back in print last time I looked on Amazon, so if you’re missing any you might try there. I was reading about Fair Ellen, the blind one, a few months ago, and wondering if she was an early case of whatever that collie eye condition is.
