Carbon sequestration (not even developed) is mandated, however, a coal plant with higher than 250 Mgw (this one is 600) cannot sequester in land that may have state conservational value. The limestone quarry is one of the largest deposits of limestone in the world—(limestone is used in scrubbing to create clean coal)—I checked to see if there was a state conservation group for limestone—limestone beds are called Karst land—Michigan Karst Conservancy-—Kablam. Poof.
That’s correct, limestone works. If they don’t allow the coal plant they are NUTS!
