Reagan did not quit the job. He didn’t resign. Sure I would have loved to have seen Reagan annihilate the Syrians and Iranians but we are not talking about policy here now are we.
Heck, judging from her reaction to frivolous law suits, if Palin had had Beirut happen to her she would have run out of the White House screaming about dead fish or something.
Reagan was shot in the chest and stayed.
Palin was peppered with frivolousness and shot herself in the foot.
Sarah Palin is a great American who needs to DIG IN AND FIGHT.
You can spin it if you wish.
Palin knows exactly what she is doing.
She is a political outsider who has to adjust fire.
She is anything but a quitter. You will see that during the midterm election campaign. She could have stayed in Alaska and ended her political career...or she could leave and help our a GOP that is in chaos and rudderless.
She chose the tougher option and she will help the floundering GOP and take a shot at the Presidency perhaps.
