Please address the following facts:

1. Sarah Palin is a Christian.
2. Sarah Palin is pro-life.
3. Sarah Palin lives a pro-life life.
4. Sarah Palin is courageous and unflappable.
5. Sarah Palin is a good wife and mother.
6. Sarah Palin is attractive, interesting and popular. She can get everyone's attention and her enemies are obsessed with her.
7. Sarah Palin, if she runs, will be a "historic" candidate. She's a gal.
8. Sarah Palin is not an elitist and could never be confused for one.
9. Sarah Palin can connect with people over the heads of the media.
10. Many people identify with Sarah Palin.
11. I might cross the street, or even get stuck in a traffic jam for 3 hours in an unsuccessful attempt to see her. Not so for most other candidates.

There may be a million Americans who are better qualified and might do a better job as POTUS than Palin. None of them are running yet either.

If I could surgically remove the anti-statist parts of Ron Paul from his moral equivalance parts, and attach them to Sarah Palin, I would be politically delighted.

While I would like those attributes in any candidate that I support, none of those traits tell me that she knows how to lead a country. However she would make a good minister of wife to a minister, if I could stand to listen to her rambling speech pattern.

Your post confirms my hypothesis: Palin's support is nothing more than a personality cult.

Of all the facts you listed, only one, her being pro-life, had anything to do with policy.

Everything else was a personal characteritic of her's that you and others happen to like.

It's sad that the right is following the left and degenerating into a culture of personality cults.
