Since her press secretary, who was vacationing in New York, didn't even know, it's tough to say who advised her. I suspect it's a decision she and Todd made. It seems too personal to be advisers. But, who knows?

It had been in the works for some time according to one of the pages she wrote yesterday....Deb you really need to learn to use a search engine and look up some of this for yourself...wink.... (her face book has material as does her twitter)...Sarah will be using the most modern techniques to get her word out.

The decision to do it yesterday, may have been “at the last minute”, but those close to her were aware it was being considered....Did you read the Lt gov comments today? Her 4th of July statement? Most folks are letting her talk for herself.
