I just posted this on another thread but thought it fit here as well :))

Things have completely changed and I can feel the energy and excitement surrounding Palin’s announcement. She has totally thrown off the talking heads and it is wigging them out. I, for one, trust her implicitly and am REALLY looking forward to this thing unfolding.

She’s about to hand the libtards a big fat surprise in the next 16 months or so, when she gets behind solid conservatives, draws huge crowds and gets them elected. Then embarks on her own campaign for POTUS in ‘12.

The people on ‘our side’ that are talking negatively about her either really want someone else to be the front runner (Romney) or they are SUCH pathetic creatures of habit that if someone so much as steps off the trail they throw a fit because it doesn’t fit the mold THEY envision. But it sure doesn’t make what she’s doing wrong :)

I concur, spacejunkie. In the next 16 months the nation will see how important her role in restoring a gubernatorial majority and congressional voice to the Republicans—and coalescing the nation around a new, small government, freedom-loving coalition. That she handed the Alaska governship on to her trusted lieutenant in order to lead the nation’s righting of its political ship will be seen as almost a natural imperative, a hero’s call, that she simply answered. Then the country’s going to be restless for 2012 to arrive so they can vote her in in Obama’s stead.

This is not the face of a lady "running away in tears", but more a image of the "cat who ate the canary"...

A cat with a key to the pet store cage...

It’s reminding me of how Rush finally had enough of carrying the Republicans who have been more RINOs than anything and threw them off his back. I’m thrilled over it!

People do not want “politics as usual” nor do they want the “hopy-changie” direction Zero is taking us. If/when people start to see what Sarah is doing, there will be a ground-swell of support.

Unfortunately, she has also "thrown off" the pundits who were her biggest champions. The ones she'll need in the future for any political aspirations. Poor Bill Kristol sounded like a rape victim this morning.

That's why it's looking more and more like she's stepping off the world stage and into the family kitchen.

Bless her.

This is what I think as well. She was the surprise girl, the unknown appointed by McCain.

Now she wants to slug her way to the top and score all the points (the crowds, the enthusiasm, her supported candidates being elected, etc.) on her own.

She’s the only viable Republican candidate... People actually like her. A conservative with populist appeal!
