Obama and Co. just won!!!
This has to rank as one of the worst political moves of all time....this makes the whole circus around South Carolina Govs affair pale in comparison...
Palin has just betrayed our movement like no one has before..

Right, there is all kinds of time to accomplish other things. She can write her book, unencumbered by being a sitting governor. She can travel the country rallying support, raising funds, campaigning for other conservatives. Even now, every time she opens her mouth, the news will be there to record it. Yup. She out-smarted the media and the Demmunists this time around. Round one goes to Sarah.
This is like throwing a bomb on third and two, when you're up by a touchdown with 2:00 minutes left. I like that go-for-the-throat attitude.
Go get 'em Sarah!

I completely disagree. How does it benefit the conservative movement having her behind a desk in Alaska facing certain bankruptcy with all the bogus ethics complainst?
How does it help us if she’s chained to that desk because they are filing complaints against her whenever she leaves Alaska?
They have complaints drawn up against her for her book, if she tries to campaign, her legal defense fun (filed), going on radio, going on television, one was even planned for filing if she was to announce a run for another office, included if she choose to run for re-election!
She is now more dangerous to the Dems and especially to those in the GOP who set out to destroy her. Her handcuffs have been removed, the gloves are off - look out.

Good post. I just read her speech that Brytani posted in #489. Had not seen it earlier.

There's 18 months left in her four year term. It was a four year contract, and she's quitting. I expected better from her. Romney was running for the presidency from the first day he took office as governor, here in MA, and he was AWOL for much of his term.
I respect Sarah's decision.

I’ve never had the pleasure of reading such a “story” from any newbie, so I’ll have to take your word for it.
As far as JimRob goes, I sent an email to the “webmaster” back in January, trying to get some help about logging in under my old screen name, for which I had lost the password. Since I got no reply, I had no choice but to sign up to a new account. I imagine that if I really pressed the issue and sent an email every day as a form of harassment, that maybe something would be done to shut me up. But i chose not to do that. I’ll FreepMail you the names of some folks I remember from the “old days”.
And I’m disappointed that you (and others) have been so quick to discount what I have written.
BTW, are you the guy that I saw acknowledged in Travis McGee’s “Domestic Enemies”?

Romney-Huckabee is the best chance the Republicans have to stop the Obama machine in 2012.Best chance? What's wrong with you? The Nation has already rejected them once, FGS.

Palin haters come out of the wood work. I see that as a good thing. They're showing fear, so they must think they have something to be frightened of.
No one else in the current field of presidential hopefuls arouses nearly as much passionate support. If I were them, I'd be frightened too.

Quite a surprise today, huh? Reading all the threads does nothing but confuse but those against her crawled out of the woodwork.
Finally reading what she actually said was a help, lol.
Watching TV is like someone died!! We'll see what the future holds!
