I think she needs to go to the Senate first, to get more familiar with how DC operates, before running for POTUS. I just don’t think right now she can win 2012, based on just being the governor of Alaska.

The senate would be the worst place for her to go. Very few presidents have come from the senate and most who go there end up being infected with Beltway/Lobbyist Fever.

I just dont think right now she can win 2012, based on just being the governor of Alaska. I am inclined to agree with the first part but not the second. Obama had zero resume and he won. So we know it is not just a matter of resume.

This latest election not withstanding, historically sitting senators tend not to do well in presidential elections, especially when they run against someone who did not come from the senate.
