How can ‘energy companies’ put people to work when they can’t drill, can’t mine, can’t build nuclear plants, have punitive tax obligations and odorous environmental hurdles and laws?

Is he serious? It was an energy company that laid my husband off in March, and he hasn’t been able to find a job yet.. certainly not with another energy company, in spite of years of experience.
Well, I certainly am getting a warm and fuzzy feeling from his confidence. No hope for a new job for my husband, but a warm and fuzzy feeling. Don’t think that will pay the bills, though.
Building “green” energy plants that make energy cost twice or more what conventional sources cost may create jobs short term in the energy sector but it will bankrupt the rest of the country. It is simply spending more for less. That is not how you create wealth... In truth it is how you destroy it...
