The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign. At issue is a question that was never resolved following McCains loss in November: Who in the McCain campaign was secretly trashing Sarah Palin to the press?

Forget Palin.
Elect someone with some moral fortitude and honor.

Palin PING!
Anyone on or off the Palin ping, write me.
Yes this seems organized. Palin starts becoming more strong, a “republican insider” says there is a battle currently in the party over whether the future is with Palin, then ... VF hit piece, and HuffPo talks lovingly about Romney.
They fear Palin very much. As they did the first time they set eyes on her at the national level. Nothings changed.
given that Jonathan Martin’s name was mentioned in the story, Romney does come into the equation... also interesting NRO seems to be strongly supporting Romney and Krauthammer — who I really like — was making a point to say Palin had not gone back to Alaska and tried to learn about foreign policy, which she was “supposed” to do... he then went on to praise Romney.
Next time...tell us how you really feel. Don’t hold back.HA!
Apparently, it is a trademark of Runner's World to photograph governors with American flags in controversial poses.
IMHO, if this particular image is photoshopped, someone spent a lot of time doing a photoshop shadow of the flag, too.
I would wish the Flag were more properly displayed. It looks like a staged prop, along with the Blue Star displayed to the inside of the room (rather than to the outside world). Oh, wait, if the star were displayed properly, we couldn't see it, then, could we?
I agree with you...it could just be a liberal hit piece they made up with their famous “unnammed sources”.
I agree, would someone do this for a serious male contender? This isn’t a movie star, this is a woman who is trying to be a serious politician and frankly — the photo is sexist.
Obama’s pic was real, this is photoshoped — huge difference.
I really like Krauthammer and he is dead on when he says, Palin needs to play catch up on issues, etc. he referred to Romney as a “grown up” but I saw that more as a dig against libs, not Sarah.
Krauthammer has a very strong wife, whom he gave credit to when he recently got his journalist award. I think he was more upset FOR palin, pushing her to get it together.
and he is right.
I hope you are correct, I love Krauthammer and was not happy at his comments during the election....
Creating controversy amongst uninformed people like you (do not take offense)with photoshopped images such as this. In other words, this is not a legitimate photo of Sarah Palin............and is typical of all the anti-Palin crap that is flooding the internet.
It maybe photoshopped as I don’t know. But if it is why can’t the Gov. have it taken down?

Dunno, don't really care.
Personally, I think that the attacks on both Mark Sanford and Sarah Palin were coordinated. Of course, yes, Sanford did make plenty of enemies, and the political rope he was hung on was of his own making, but the timing of the reveal of his affair, followed by the attacks on Palin and the media pushing Romney...something smells very very wrong here. Someone (I'm not sure who) is engaging in massive psychological warfare on conservatives and libertarians, and I'm not sure whether the attacks are originating from the RINOs or the Democrats (or both).
You've been around here since 1998 and actually ask a question like that?
Would it be because it’s a legit photo? If it isn’t it would seem to be grounds for some kinda of legal action....
You guys really need to take a few threads off and eat some pie. You don’t have to hammer every reply, I get it. Honest.
If you did we wouldn't...
