Notice the passive tone of Pawlenty. This is the same-old “we need to get along” crapola that has caused the Republicans to lose two consecutive elections. Also I don’t understand why Pawlenty is even commenting on this, giving the media talking points. I don’t consider Pawlenty a RINO, but he’s very bland and uninspiring.
Whatever it is, it doesn't impress me in the least. One thing that makes an impression on me is straight talk about the political agenda, and then working that like a bulldog. Ben Franklin was no family man.
That said, there are very few in the GOP who have the political agenda of radically shrinking the federal government, etc. They are from the government, and they are here to help. I fart in their direction.
