The only way the military would be behind him is if the military itself is the target of a false flag or real attack by NK or Iran. Here in the US or in Iraq or Korea.
The only other scenario I can possibly envision is if a false flag op (or NK or Iran) launches a nuke and detonates it high above the country. Obama asks military to get behind him and augment the local and state resources.

He's been planning another way for a long time.
Don't forget his dream of a civilian security force that will be as strong as the military.
The plan would be to move as many military units overseas as possible and then make the move using his personal brown shirt corps.
....And he just does not have that support, period.
