Good Lord. I was commenting on an expression I have never heard before.
Those in the MSM are using Obama's teleprompter reading skills, and the book, as evidence of his intelligence in lieu of actual college transcripts and test scores, because they don't have anything else to prove their beliefs.
And yet, they ridicule the thought of Sarah Palin writing a book. That's why it would be important to expose the lie that Obama wrote the one thing that is the basis for his intelligence.

Such connections may explain subject matter, as well as various references, theses, and general tones. However, unless Frank Marshall Davis taught them both how to write, step by step, it wouldn’t account for their having such remarkably similar styles. Nor would it account for similar mistakes, nor similar recognition of personal experiences.
Not that they necessarily have remarkably similar styles. Like I said, I’m not an expert on the subject, and haven’t read Ayers work and only a little bit of Obama’s.

GREAT POST!! Dr. Cashill has nailed Obama to the wall as a Literary and Intellectual FRAUD!! More importantly, Cashill proves that the Unrepentant Terrorist, William Ayers, wrote the book “DREAMS”, the book that Obama alleges as his own! Most important, it proves a very close long term friendship annd working relationship between the Terrorist and Obama, a fact that confirms Obama is a cold-blooded Liar!
Obama has always alleged he only knew of Ayers in passing as a distant neighbor, not as his Biographer and author of the only piece of work he has claimed as his owm.
Dr. Cashill appears to prove Obama is no better than his Vice President, Joe (PLUGS) Biden, the proven Plagerizer of yesterday!

That’s not true. Rumor and innuendo hurt people all the time. Why not Obama.
Though actionable, it’s not likely to work, since Obama is a golden, untouchable Democrat among untouchable Democrats.
That being said, I don’t consider this crankery. His methods may be crap, and all the research done to this point may not amount to a hill of beans for academics and the like, I don’t know. However, this isn’t like the Birth Certificate or Obama being a secret muslim. Reasonable folks should be reminded that politicians, like many celebrities, employ ghostwriters ALL THE TIME. It’s as common as rain in April.
What bothers me is not so much plagiarism. If he cheated on his thesis paper at Harvard, that would be a big deal. But when it comes to non-writer celebrities writing, there’s a traditional nudge-nudge, wink-wink thing. What irks me is the common assertion that Obama is among the greatest politician/writers in American history. Of course, they modify the claim by saying he is the greatest memoir writer, or something, thereby dodging comparisons to Lincoln, Jefferson, Madison, Adams, etc. Of course, by sidestepping them, they fall right on the graves of truly great memoirists like Franklin and Grant.

Five years ago (or thereabouts) the media went into a feeding frenzy over a CBS report about Bush’s National Guard Service that was based on forged documents.
We were said to be wallowing in tin foil then.
Most Americans are not dumb. They are frustrated because it seems they can’t do anything. I am sick and tired of hearing American people run down as we don’t know what day of the week it is.
It does not matter how the birth certificate matter got started or by whom. The fact still remains that Obama has done everything he can to prevent anything about his life being public. Now why he is doing that I don’t know; but stop blaming everyone else and calling things conspiracies simply because you don’t agree. There is atleast an element of truth there and you never know what can come out of anything.
I personally believe Obama will be brought down by the smallest thing he never thought about.

I get the thrust of your argument, and happen to agree that getting bogged down, even in legitimate and totally non-conspiritorial criticisms like flip-flopping, is useless. Attacking individual government officials in general bores me. Didn’t like it when the left did it to Bush. And I hate, hate, HATE the BC issue.
However, if the allegations are true, and they very well could be, I’d find it intellectually satisfying to know. Like I said, ghostwriting isn’t as big a deal to me as to others. But the constant elevation of Obama as a great mind and special amongst our elected class annoys me. Especially since he never did anything.
If Michael Jackson, for instance, had someone else write his memoirs, it wouldn’t bother me. He’s achieved success at his chosen field, and doesn’t need to prove himself. Obama, however, had as his biggest accomplishment prior to joining the Illinois Senate the fact that he was a community organizer. The book was a big prop.

Is that enough to start one thinking that maybe Malcolm X knew Obama Snr before the 'student from Kenya' showed up in Hawaii?
