I have been on this site long enough to remember our outrage at the cartoons and portraying not only Dr. Rice but Clarence Thomas as Aunt Jemima and Uncle Tom, are we now assuming the role of the Democratic Underground of who can be portrayed in a negative stereotype?

Did we not have a problem how Conservatives Blacks were portrayed?

is the discussion to include a caricature of a modern Black women in civil war clothing, attired in the dress of the slaves, even the company that featured the Aunt Jemima character moved on from that Gone with the Wind portrait of
Blacks.

By all means let us have the debate, but not at a Democratic Underground level.

I missed post #12.

If we lived in a perfect world I would certainly agree with you, but we are not dealing with people who respect anything and will do and say anything to accomplish their ruin of America.

Our civility may be one of the traits that allowed our enemies get so far ahead, sort of like W's "compassionate conservatism". Times are desperate, we must fight fire with fire.

I have and will show proper respect, where respect is due. Just because the HNIC has been able to steal his way in to the Presidency, doesn't mean michelle is the honest First Lady of our country.
