I don’t understand people who can, with a straight face, insist that there are no racial overtones to using a picture of “Aunt Jemima” to represent the First Lady. “What? It’s just pancakes? Doesn’t everyone love pancakes? It’s just a completely non-racial way of saying she should concentrate on doing other things. Things like making pancakes. Really.”

C’mon.

that is what has left me baffled, even the Moderator seems not to have had a problem with it.
The current Aunt Jemima without the slave scarf on her hair or around her neck ala Gone with the Wind, would have been more acceptable.
