A legislator should be embarrassed to vote on any legislation he or she has not taken the time to read and understand.
I hope to find out whether my congressman is capable of embarrassment.

I just wish some enterprising staffer slipped in a mandate to burn the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
That may slow down the passage of these 'bills' sight unseen.....then again maybe not.
