I am just lost....I know the Jackson 5 made quite a splash. I remember seeing them on TV. Then what? Thriller?? Did he have other huge selling albums?
I just heard his death compared to John F. Kennedy! What???

Before Thriller, ‘Off the Wall’ was pretty popular. And ‘Bad’ certainly was. He was probably the most famous person on Earth.

I mentioned Thriller because almost EVERY song from that album became gigantic hits as singles--something unprecedented in the history of music. In fact, I just ripped my Thriller CD into iTunes and copied the music on my 4G iPod nano to listen to in Jackson's memory.

Not his death....that was speculation as to what his funeral/media coverage will be like.
