Read up on his life before you judge. And no, not everyone bears responsibility for their own actions — many people have mental illnesses that prevent them from thinking or acting responsibly. In Jackson’s case, his mental illness appeared to be largely if not entirely the result of things inflicted on him by other people before he was old enough to have any control over what people did to him.
He is a 50 year old man who is a known pedophile. I am sure that we can psychoanalyze some of the most dispicable people in history, e.g., Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin, etc. and attribute their behavior to whatever childhood or other influences you want.
Jackson is not mentally ill by society's standards. He signs contracts, is not institutionalized, and is responsibile for his actions. He acquired great wealth and fame. His life story does not make him a sympathetic figure to me.
So it's not his fault he left makeup stains on little boys' shorts for a couple decades? Poor guy.
Such people, so disposed, would not know enough to dissemble their deeds. If one knows when to lie, one knows right from wrong.
I've long since forgotten the quality of the evidence against M Jackson in the area of his sexual proclivities. i don't know what he did, all I can say is God have mercy on his soul.
