The name of this forum is "Free Republic," not "Tiger Beat." I've posted what I have because my profound dislike of people like this late filthy degenerate relates to the general purpose of this forum. As for his being the "largest-selling pop recording artist in the world," that means less than nothing to me, as it must for anyone with an affinity for music.

You are posting to someone who has spent more time in the Philadelphia Academy of Music and the Kimmel Center and the Lincoln Center and the Constitution Hall and the Bach Festival and the classical music stations in many of the cities I regularly travel to than most people spend listening to pop; regardless, I recognize talent in many forms of music, not just the classical, baroque, chamber, renaissance and early music that I primarily enjoy. As I said before, if you so despise the man, go pass gas on some other thread.
