You have condemned Michael Jackson as a pedophile, is he? I don’t know that and neither do you.....

Those 2 boys and thier families dis-appeared with their millions after they extorted the money from him...

Even Larry King overheard the family speaking of an extortion scheme they had been discussing at an eatery he was at where they were....

I am not dismissing that Jackson had some strange views about children, does that make him a JOHN GACY! NO..

He did alot of good for people as well...If you think JESUS CHRIST is sending him to HELL, I have a newsflash for you.

You will be right next to him, as your posts reflect such contempt and condemnation with such disdain for him, you yourself will be judged on those same merits.

Wonderful post. What a very sad end to a sad life. Someone that on the surface had so so much, but deep inside had so very little.

I’ve always been quite back and fourth about MJ, regarding his ‘troubles’. I always aired on the side that he had in fact done ‘something’ ‘wrong’ with them children. I honestly don’t know for sure so I try and see past that.

Either way, his charity work has helped millions, and his music has entertained a generation and beyond including myself.

I like many others was nothing short of devestated to hear about this. I hope he is resting in peace.

The Age of Jackson [John Derbyshire]

I heartily applaud Jonah’s nicely balanced, commendably sour refusal to celebrate Michael Jackson’s peculiar life in the same gushing spirit the media has displayed. Sourpuss refusals to go along with gushy media enthusiasms are a part of what we’re about here at NRO, and long may that remain so.

Working up my Radio Derb transcript here, I find I’ve been chastened by the concurrent death of Farrah Fawcett, who was only twenty months younger than me. I hear footsteps coming up the driveway, and shall keep perfectly still till they’ve gone, as I hope and trust they will. In that spirit, I’m trying hard to find something positive to say about the guy the media were calling “the Gloved One” the last time I paid any attention, which I see was a decade or two ago.

All I could come up with was that Jackson, like Fawcett, was a relic of the time when we were a single nation, listening to the same pop songs, going to the same movies, sticking the same babe posters on our bedroom walls, laughing at the same jokes, even giving our kids names from a common stock. Whether Jackson should be extravagantly mourned or not, I leave to you to decide; but that era of national-cultural unity surely should be. Requiescat in pace.

I did not call *YOU* a Liar, I said that is a Lie, because MJ never made any ref: to Allah, he spoke of GOD and Jesus Christ in his interviews, but then again I assume you think all Muslims are condemned to Hell as well, because they believe in Allah.

Maybe you and “Tuffydoodle” can find a Michael Jackson playground back at DU.

Parents don’t realize how they can permanently damage a *Child’s Spirit* the way they look upon themselves...He was a child beaten by his controlling father, made to perform like a *Seal* in a circus act....and this is the end result...

Maybe GOD finally said *Michael* time to come home, where you will fianlly find the Peace and Love you never have had..

His parents are the ones here, that will have to reflect and feel the pain of loosing their child.........

It’s hard to find any child star who grew up to be anywhere near normal.

Rude????

Because I cannot believe that people on this site, who are conservatives, that are suppose to have the morals and values that come from our Creator are posting such vile, hateful comments about a human being that lost his life?

LOL. Thanks, but I'll arrange my own play dates. Funny thing, is I haven't made any comments one way or another about Jackson. I was just curious why you were telling others not to waste their time here today, but you felt it imperative to continue posting. I guess it's none of my business, then.

Tuffydoodle made a comment about memories with his brother, earlier in the thread, listening to the Jackson Five as a child....on 8-track. You told him to stop posting his memories. Kinda sharp. It's a childhood memory of the J5, not an endorsement for pedophilia.

I assume you think all Muslims are condemned to Hell as well, because they believe in Allah.

As I understand it yes they are Jackson included. I will admit I am wrong if you will quote the Bible passage where muslims are specifically welcomed into heaven.

You’re getting hysterical. Calm down. You’re passion over MJ is not shared by me. That’s all. I’ve stated over and over that my opinion of him is just that. My opinion.

“I am sure JESUS has his arms around him now, giving him the love, the PEACE the happiness he never found on earth....”

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If you go to your grave professing faith in someone other than Jesus - do you still go to “Jesus heaven?”

Michael Jackson was a MUSLIM! Muwahahaha! He wants those “72 virgins”. It doesn’t say if they are boy or girl virgins.

SO - do people who die professing another name beside Jesus, or no name at all - do they still go to “Jesus Heaven”? What about Muslims, Satanists? Buddhists? Deists? Taoists? Communists? Atheists? Agnostics?

Seems to me if ANYONE can go to Jesus Heaven when die, no matter what they believe in, or just time it until the last second saying “Jesus! I believe take me! right before they die - then you can live your life the way you want and then at the last second “swear allegiance” to Jesus.

So that’s the way it works eh? Kewl!

The deal was, from the big man himself - God: “here’s the deal. I’ll let you torture my son to death so you can get into heaven. But the one clause is, you must be a Christian and profess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. It’s my way or the highway”.

Jackson died a professed MUSLIM.

Seems that Jesus said “No one goes to the father except through me” or words to that effect. Not Mohammad. Seems pretty cut and dried with no room for negotiation.

Matthew 19:16-21
Saved by grace
(Ephesians 2:8-9) - “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.”

(Rom. 3:20, 28) - “because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin...For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.”

(Galatians 2:16) - “nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified....

Jesus in known by many clutures by a different name, by different cultures..Jesus makes himself kow in this physical life and in death..... Muslim babies killed in terrorist attacks, what do you think happens to them?

Jesus knows who is prophibited from hearing the Gospel message, the ones who are CONDEMNED are the ones who know the truth, reject it and blaspheme the Holy SPirit.

Well, here’s where it gets a little complicated. If you’re going to hold MJ’s parents accountable for harming him, you’ll need to hold MJ accountable for any harm he may have done to other children.

FWIW, I think MJ was an extremely talented performer who could electrify the stage like few, if any, others ever could. It’s beyond sad to know that his life was not what it could have been. I think that’s part of the fascination with him - he had more acclaim and more in the way of material possessions than he probably ever imagined, but it didn’t bring him satisfaction or fulfillment.
