You are guessing, and what does that have to do with respecting and honoring a human being that had massive talent did alot of humanitarian deeds and died way to young?
Bump.
“I think there are a few trolls on here trying to get their vile comments on OReilly as a typical FR poster. The mods must be having fun tonight./ not”
I’ve had the same thoughts, mplsconservative. I’d hate to be a moderator on a forum tonight.
Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) died 14 January 1898, Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin, Jr. was born 16 April 1889
I don’t think I’d describe them as best buds.
I doubt I’d describe Chaplin as “his pervert Communist sidekick”, that’s a pretty harsh description of a kid who couldn’t have been more than eight years old at the time.
*shrug* OTOH, this thread is the first I’d heard that Chaplin was a pedophile.

Yes, the same logic and excuses the Left uses to teach “Billy Has Two Daddies and Heather Has Two Mommies”.
You seem to think that just because an ultra-Left NEA run school teaches something to schoolkids - that automatically makes it right.
Guess you wouldn’t be one to ever question a school curriculum, would you.
You seem to think a 35 y/o single wealthy man seeking out young children to frequent with in seclusion is respectable and worthy of adulation.
And you don’t get what’s wrong with that?
You don’t think outside the box much, do you.
“Farah and MJ in the same day. Thats shocking”
Yeah It’s a shame the pedophile had to steal the grief we all suffer for a goddess of the seventies. Rest assured MJ is in a very special warm corner set aside for him
Thanks!!!
Love Thriller!
RIP Michael.....
I always though it tasteless and low class to mock those who recently died. The guy’s dead let him be. Musically he was great , personally a total freak , but he’s dead so nothing matters anymore regarding him.
Chaplin married Eugene O’Neill’s daughter Oona when she was around 17. He was in his mid 50s. They met earlier than that. Who know’s what happened but innuendo is a powerful thing.
Are you willing to state right here and now that you hope MJ didn't sexually abuse the children he was accused of molesting?
RIP Michael. He turned into a freak in the 90's and I'm not excusing any misbehavior he may have done with young kids - but just dang, I loved "Thriller". I went to VH1 and watched that video. I loved the dancing, the storyline, his singing and I thought he was charming with that gal that played his date.
That's the Michael Jackson I want to remember.
YES I do...
Is there a reason you know of, that forbids Michael Jackson from entering the Kingdom of GOD?????
OK, fine.
I L.O.V.E Michael Jackson.
He was the King of Pop!
Wow!
Who cares about a grown man’s totally frickin’ suspect behavior with children when, OH, MY, what a dancer he was! And all that sparkly stuff, simply, (sigh) mesmorizing!
RIP, Michael Jackson
It’s just weird. Like there were 2 MJs. The one during the Jackson 5 and Thriller days and the one for the last 20 plus years.
I wonder how he died?
Why ask how? The pervert won’t be molesting any more young boys
While I won't join you for dinner I believe you are correct. Being found not guilty is not the same as being innocent under the law.
Ah since we are going there I would add Bocelli. He always closes with Con Te Partiro. Brings a lump to my throat every time.
I’d like to see that. got a link?
I have sympathy for your frustration; however, you need to understand when you are so seriously outnumbered by others who perhaps do not carry the same scars. I submit that most of the commentors here are not admiring nor endorsing his bad actions. I personally am just participating in conversations about a moment that is significant because of all that he represented over a lifetime, both the bad and the good. I would never have let any child anywhere near him. But the impact he has had on pop culture, even if it is ultimately negative, is an unique phenomenon worth examining without hysteria. That doesn’t equate to idol-worship.
