Wow. Is that true? That is a sobering statistic.

Sad but true. National average is 6%. We have a fantastic paramedic system here with average response times of 4-5 minutes.

REcently lost a friend to a massive heart attack. No one could understand why he died, since he was in a health club and CPR was started virtually right away. I figured it was because, when they did surgery on him they found what they said was 100% blockage. So, it doesn’t matter how many chest compressions you do if the blood is not getting to the brain. Maybe I’m wrong tho.
Very sad anyway.

How utterly frightening. I figured it would be about 30-40 percent. 6 percent is dang scary.
