Well...I actually didn’t SEE a tear....and, Fox hasn’t called him dead, yet. Greta is holding on to “Michael is dramatic” and this may be just over exaggerated.

Legendary "King of Pop" Michael Jackson reportedly died today from cardiac arrest today. He was 50.

Jackson was taken to UCLA Medical Center by LA Fire Department paramedics after getting a call at Jackson's home around 12:26 p.m. local time.

He was not breathing when they arrived and had no pulse, TMZ.com reported on its Web site.

Michael's father, Joe Jackson, said he had been alerted to the emergency but didn't have any additional details.

"I am in Las Vegas, but yes, people in Los Angeles called me and are with Michael and tell me he was taken to the hospital," the elder Jackson told E! News.

"His mother is on her way to the hospital now to check in on him. I am not sure what's wrong. I am waiting to hear back from them."............

as an er physician a pt found by ems in cardiac arrest have extremely poor outcomes. If your critical care than your seeing the 1% that make into the unit who spike a fever and die 3 days later. what is your survival rate, not counting the ones who coded in the unit and have everone right there

Some folks don't need a 2x4 blow to the head to SEE Jackson as an obviously disturbed and perverted freak.... Pedophilia being only one of his perversions....

Only the naive could believe there was no "fire" behind all the smoke that surrounded Jackson for DECADES....

Perhaps you also believe that Obama never heard a black racist sermon in the approx 20 years he had the Rev. Wright as his mentor?

Sure for a witnessed arrest. Michael was found unresponsive, very low survival rate. I was in EMS for 6 years and only had one save and I was off-duty at the time. Most of the time we showed we had flat-line all the way to the hospital, when we got there after a few rounds of drugs, the doctors called it.

The troubled star had appeared frail and unhealthy in his infrequent public appearances in the past couple of years. Though he was trying to stage a comeback of sorts, having just recently announced some British tour dates. His mother and sister LaToya are said to have been with Jackson at the time of the incident.

The L.A. Times now reports he's in a coma:

[Updated at 2:46 p.m.: Pop star Michael Jackson is in a coma and his family is arriving at his bedside, a law enforcement source told The Times.

Jackson was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center this afternoon by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.

Fire Capt. Steve Ruda said paramedics responded to a call at Jackson's home at 12:26 p.m. He was not breathing when they arrived. The paramedics performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation and took him to the hospital, Ruda told The Times.]

Jackson’s mother is reportedly already on the way to the hospital. Jackson is in “really bad shape,” an unspecified family member told TMZ, while Jackson’s father Joe told the site, “He is not doing well.”

He’s what we refer to as “semi-dead”.
