strike him from consideration.
Has the GOP sunk this low to have expected this type of man to climb the ladder up, yet have these type of deficiencies, apparently of a non-casual variety?

Not sad, infuriating and stupid and selfish.

We will know more about this affair within 24 hours than we will ever know about John Edwards affair and the subsequent love child.

So many of these politicians were so smart as children that they were able to skip kindergarden.
They missed the lesson to the little boys:
Keep your pee-pee in your pants!

He’ll be fine. At least he admits it and appears genuinely sorry. The GOP as a whole on the other hand hasn’t even admitted they have a problem yet.

Thanks for contributing absolutely nothing to the public perception of conservatives, Sanford, you turd.
Proving the age-old axiom that "p#ssy will make a man stupid"

What he should do now is simple. He should return every campaign contribution he received, out of his own pocket. Then he can start over in Argentina for all I care.

Mark Sanford, the governor of South Carolina, apologized in a rambling news conference on Wednesday for having an extra-marital affair with a woman in Argentina, ending a mystery over his week-long disappearance that had infuriated lawmakers and seemed to put his rising political career in jeopardy. I think it's safe to say that his political career no longer SEEMS to be in jeopardy.

Sarah will never have to embarrass herself, her family, or her party like this.
To: FromLori
In revealing an affair that had gone on for about a year and which he had disclosed to his wife, Jenny, five months ago, he said: This was selfishness on my part. So he started cheating on his wife a year ago, told her about it 5 months ago, and then kept on seeing the other woman as recently as this week? "Sad" is not the word I would have chosen. "Scum" is more like it.

"I dont know how this thing got blown out of proportion, he said.Resign already and shut up.

I almost want Sarah to run as an Independent so she isn’t pulled down by the rest of the GOP.

Why would somebody think they could get away with this and not get caught especially a high profile figure like a governor? As much as I liked Gov. Sanford for his politics, he is now toxic waste. What a shame.

LOL at the Democrats “outraged” by the governor’s behavior. They’re such hypocrites.
