I suspect that, being a Southern lady, she'll handle it with far more grace and aplomb than about 99% of the people on this thread.
I am one of those who gave him the benefit of the doubt until we knew whether or not he'd actually done something wrong. Now that we know, sorry I can't share the seemingly jubilant outpouring of acrimony. I've supported Sanford for years, and I'm just sad, mostly for SC.
I just love hearing from all of the perfect people who seem to expect their righteous outrage to fully illuminate the remnants of the Republican Party. Their perfection humbles me.
