Unfortunately, Gov. Sanford may have to resign. There are a few SC republicans already talking about Impeachment.
Well, they can’t impeach him just for the affair (it’s “just about sex,” after all). But about leaving the state incommunicado for five days, eh...I kind of doubt it, but knowing the General Assembly down there, they may try it as payback for him fighting them tooth and nail on their pork for the past seven years.
