Are there any decent politicians left in this country?

People like him in the republican party is part of the reason we got Obama.

“Walks away from the press conference when asked if he’ll resign as governor...”

He mistakenly thought he could be painfully honest and keep his position of power lol.

People like this go in denial...they really think they can have it all.

Btw, in a week or so, the reality will hit and he will announce resignation as Gov.

bing bang bong.....done....career over for him just like that for a little booty call.

Sanford is an Eagle Scout who apparently forgot the Boy Scout Law

A Scout is:

Trustworthy, (he isn't)
Loyal, (nope!)
Helpful,
Friendly, (okay)
Courteous, (perhaps)
Kind,
Obedient, (not to the 7th commandment)
Cheerful,
Thrifty,
Brave, (well he did do the presser)
Clean,
and Reverent.

My post from this morning:

'Something exotic' in political speak means a 21 year old girl with an accent. Longest nookie run ever.

This whole story just doesn't pass the smell test.

Why do cheaters always bring God’s name into their affair? “Oh I knew it was wrong and hope you can forgive me”....sheesh pal, forgiving isn’t up to me but if it was, I’d say no...you let down too many people and have hurt us again...... someone please sew up the front of these politicians pants!

i will fault fieldmarshal on his propensity to attack freepers for merely questioning this situation. i have been accused of being in a lynchmob by him all AM, when it turns out that all i am is a REALIST.

I disagree, unless Palin can “reinvent” her persona a bit, which, admittely, there is time for her to do.

I know a LOT of women who love Palin, but I know a lot of women who voted for Bush both times, who can’t stand Palin, because they think she resembles the very type of woman they hate.

Not saying they SHOULD feel this way, but they DO and they’ll vote in accordance. If we can’t get as many women to vote for Palin as did for Bush, we lose.

Too bad for his family...but he was a “global warmer” anyway.

That's just a way to pick up young liberal chicks.

LOL, you are probably correct...I never thought of that!

I’m happy that Sanford is toast.

One less rival for Sarah in 2012!

First question: Is Sanford resigning? He damn well should.

Second question: What did the WH know about Sanford's whereabouts and when did they know it?

Third question: Did the WH have anything to do with Sanford's being AWOL becoming public knowledge?

The best hope in 2012 bites the big one. It’s almost as if the Dems give some kind of love potion to potential GOP candidates to make them cheat on their wives, to knock them off one by one...

/tinfoil

Bollocks. Mark Sanford just proved that he would have folded like a Three-Card Monte dealer being chased by the Transit Police. This guy is a clown with an agenda who just proved that he couldn't hack it without cheating on his wife.

Our best hope is in Europe right now inspecting the Alaska National Guard. She can take the hits and she never folds.

LIstening to this was like listening to the Republican Party nominate Michael Vick for President.....of the ASPCA.

Best,

Chris

Once again, the GOP shoots itself in the foot with a sex scandal. The chairman of the Republican Governor’s Association, the man leading the anti-stimulus fight, and a key opponent of Obama totally negated. This will now dominate the news, and the focus on the important policy differences will be subsumed by sensational coverage and joke about ‘family values’ conservatives. You can’t make a case for conservatism when nobody walks the walk. Thanks Mark! Fly back to Argentina...and take Ensign with you.

Sanford has outdone even Jimmy Swaggart as the champion of teary apologies over an affair with a ‘ho.
