I stuck with our governor right up to the end and I can’t tell you how pi$$ed off I am right now.
I wasn’t aware that Sanford ever said he would run...or I thought his global warming stance of last year would rule him out.

Oh, it began so innocently....we just talked and sent messages and cooed into the phone late at night..... it only turned romantic a year ago... sure pal - it was such a shock to everyone involved that someone you had been involved with and asked the opinion of for 8 years wasn’t someone you were attempting to boink.

I think we, as conservatives, have to drop the personality cult thing and simply support those who will support our ideas and principles. If we try to support them as “great human beings”, we’ll continue to be disappointed. As a general rule, decent people do not get involved in politics.
