The SW troll types will here, they were attempting to start a flamewar against me in this thread to try to take me down over a 3-year old grudge.

I have to admit I remain shellshocked. I still don’t know what Sanford should do. Part of me thinks he should resign, but that would leave the state in the hands of someone who is the epitome of the statist Democrat-lite RINO establishment. His first obligation is to his family. He may be in too broken a shape to complete his term, unfortunately. If he’s able to mend the damage with his family, he might be able to do so with the people of SC and conclude his term with some level of honor intact. At least he was man enough to not lie about it to our faces like a certain ex-President. The lie is worse than the sin itself.

I think Sanford is going to have to decide what is best for him, his family, his state... we all need to try and unemotionally invest in these men and women and look at them all with a honest, or as honest as possible, eye.
