“IMHO, their brains were fried on drugs a l-o-n-g time ago and this is what is left: a mind incapable of comprehending the truth.”

For some, maybe, but we can’t blame drugs on everything lib. I have family members who don’t drink, aren’t druggies, but they are libs through and through in their thinking (or lack thereof). Basically no logic at all in their thought process.

For most of them, it comes down to social things such as welfare. I actually heard one say to their child who had come to them for help, “You need to get food stamps. By golly, that’s what I pay taxes for.” Not an isolated case, as I’ve heard similar statements from them many times.

The thing that bothered me, this relative is well to do and could have helped their son. Their son is not lazy. He’s well-educated, working, paying bills, but just needed a little help to get established after military life.

Yet conservatives are mean and have no compassion because they take care of their own and want to leave govt out of it. Totally illogical thinking.

My apologies. In no way did I mean to offend you or your family members. My family is ultra-liberal too (all Obama voters) and don't approve of me for becoming a born-again Christian.

My comment was born out of some personal experience. I grew up among die-hard liberals in a very liberal city (San Francisco). It was cool to use drugs, and some did very hard drugs in their youth. Now this generation is in charge.
