Republicans, Libertarians and Independents better do some real soul searching and not put another geriatric out of touch candidate in place to run against him.
Still, he may very likely get reelected as most Americans are idiots who understand the dynamics of American Idol better than presidential elections.

Quite a profound statement...and very true. BTW, personally, I hate watching American Idol. I watched 15 minutes of one episode, and when I saw the way those contestants were insulted & degraded by the panel, I lost all respect for the show & never tuned in again.
This might have been one of the shows that Zero watched regularly before he was placed into office. Its probably where he learned the tactics on how to shatter an American dream!
Maybe wishful thinking on my part, but if things don’t change...and I mean change FAST, I think Zero is a one-termer.
There are two huge societal changes against him, right off the top of my head:
First off, thanks to tv/video etc, the American public now has the attention span of an ant. They are not going to sit back and wait YEARS for the economy/unemployment to improve. Due to his reckless spending, inflation will reduce their impatience even more.
Secondly, he can’t pretend this is 1932 and he is FDR. No future president can. The New Media is running circles around the moribund, backwards, and biased Old Media (see events in Iran!) If he’s hoping for some fireside chat to calm the masses, he’s even more stupid than he seems.
Reagan vs. Carter.
Bush vs. Dukakis.
Clinton vs. Bush.
Clinton vs. Dole
Bush II vs. Gore.
Bush II vs. Kerry.
Obama vs. McCain.
In each case, the “better looking” candidate won. You really need some women to properly evaluate the physical appearance of each of these candidates, but that's my theory and I'm stickin’ to it.
BTW, VPs don't count or Sarah Palin might have won it for McCain.
IMHO, the first thing that the ‘Pubbies should think about for their next candidate should be his appearance. Thanks to TV, the days in which extraordinary men of ordinary handsomeness winning national elections based on their abilities and principles are over. A Winston Churchill wouldn't stand a chance in the US national elections.
