Don’t try to make me out to be an atheist or a socialist. I’m proud to be a Christian. But don’t tell me that one has to abandon reason or science to believe in the Lord.

My whole purpose here was to dispute that a piece of wood found on a mountainside was Noah’s Ark. It certainly didn’t float there.

You said — But don’t tell me that one has to abandon reason or science to believe in the Lord.

That’s not what the Doctrine of the Inerrancy of Scripture says, as you’ll see in Post #85...

It says that reason and/or science does not overturn what God’s revelation says... It does not say that you have to abandon reason or science.

Rather it says that the Word of God is inerrant and infallible, even down to the very word of each sentence, and in any revelation in God’s word about the Flood or Creation, and does not contradict true science and true reason, as God has created both...

Proof of satan is in the insistance of man that he doesn’t exist. Ditto science in the eyes of a small group of “christians”.
