You said Yorktown, now you're saying Saratoga. Four years is forever in a war. And that begs the question of the Caribbean campaign. I'd say my assessment of your historical knowledge was spot on.
And I'm not going to hell on your or anyone else's say-so, and certainly not for telling the truth about your education or lack thereof.

Hon, the Caribbean Campaign was being waged for France's benefit, not the United States'. And keep in mind French Admiral de Grasse's fleet was eventually destroyed by the British in the Caribbean! Google "Battle of the Saints" (1/1781) and you'll learn the truth.
