Actually, as a whole, Iranian citizens are the most well-educated of all the Middle Eastern countries. I certainly wouldn't call them "primitive." They have a large population of young people, many pro-Western, who have obviously been sitting on ther hands and waiting for their chance for a long time.

I just wish this had happened a year ago when we had a real President in the White House and not a fraudulent interloper.

Oh puhleeze. Mousav's supporters are college students and yuppies--these are a small percentage of Iran's demographic. The vast majority of Iranians are superstitious and primitive-minded. Don't forget, the Shah was overthrown because he wanted to modernize Iran, and the Iranian public was horrified at the very thought of modernity.

A few years back democracy was not considered in the middle east. President Bush was criticized and ridiculed for trying to make it work in Iraq. Now we have young people fighting for democracy in Iran.Bush was courageous.

There are Christians in Iran too and there are people who want freedom from the tyranny........Why are you opposed to any Western person feeling outrage at what is going on in Iran as well as outrage against our current administration's lack of vociferous condemnation against the Iranian govt's murder of it's own citizens"

Oh, I know.....It's like the tree that fell in the woods. If we didn't have access to the on scene videos of the attrocities going on in Iran then it didn't really happen.......
