See this thread and these posts regarding that. Short answer - we don’t know.

I think we are on the same page here, I realize that my certificate is NOT the original, vault copy, or even a certified copy of the vault copy.
It is, however, a Birth Certificate that I used to obtain my passport.
Obama was in Pakistan for about three weeks, said the campaign, staying with his friend's family in Karachi and also visiting Hyderabad in Southern India.
Pakistan in 1981 was under military rule. It was difficult for U.S. citizens to travel to the country without assistance. It would have been easier for someone to enter Pakistan on an Indonesian passport.
If Obama indeed possessed Indonesian citizenship as a child, it is unlikely he retains such citizenship. The country's bylaws require any Indonesian citizen living abroad for more than five years to formally declare his intention to return, otherwise risk losing his citizenship status. The law does not necessarily mean Indonesian citizenship would be immediately lost. The law can be overruled by ministerial order.
Obama’s registration in Indonesia under the name “Barry Soetoro” also raises questions as to whether he adopted that name in the U.S. at any time. According to Illinois state filings, when Obama registered as an attorney in 1991, under the name Barack Obama, he stated he did not have any former names.”
---- Taken DIRECTLY from the WND article I posted, earlier.
Troll all you want, but please don't presume to tell me what I have posted, as you obviously don't read what I post. WND has FAR more credibility than anything you have come up with, thus far.
Remember, conjecture (sentences starting with "if", as in "If Obama indeed possessed Indonesian citizenship as a child..." from your WND post) does not count as proof.
More to the point, the members of the family who claim Obama was born in Hawaii, place that birth in TWO different hospitals!
What could be more effective in opposing the socialist agenda than exposing the Obama BC as a fraud?
If we had proof positive that Obama was not more in the USA, and that Obama was NOT a citizen, you would still stick up for Obama, because that is your job, on these threads, isn't it?
When did seeking truth become a secondary goal around here?
Pakistan in 1981 was under military rule. It was difficult for U.S. citizens to travel to the country without assistance. It would have been easier for someone to enter Pakistan on an Indonesian passport.
If the State Department travel advisory from 1981 referenced above in my post is accurate, then it was not difficult for American citizens to travel to Pakistan. As a matter of fact, it was fairly easy considering that Pakistan allowed Americans to obtain a 30-day visa at Pakistani airports, which would imply it was okay to fly to Pakistan before obtaining a visa.
It seems that WND is basing their opinion that it was "difficult" to travel there merely on the political climate in Pakistan at the time. Although Pakistan was under martial and sharia law at the time, that didn't prevent tourism.
You can’t provide any facts so you attack. It’s so much easier than the truth isn’t it?
Please, no facts, it hurts our heads.
Don’t understand you comment. Were you directing it to browardchad?
Reminder to self: check out where Abercrombie came from and where he was educated. There's a definite Buffalo connection there.
She also remembers Dr. West mentioning that the babys father was the first black student at the University of Hawaii and how taken he was by the babys name.
Delivered 5,000 babies and THE ONE stands out?
I remember Dr. West saying Barack Hussein Obama, now thats a musical name, said Nelson, who grew up in Kenmore and went to Hawaii in 1959...
Something about that fond little memory of hers reminds me of Susan Blake. 'Musical name' - 'changed his diaper'.
I'm beginning to see a pattern here...are you? LOL! The owner of the house on the birth announcement deceased. Dr Nordyke, whose wife Eleanor claims she gave birth on the same day at the same hospital (to twins) whose birth announcement never appeared anywhere...deceased. Dr West, who found the name Barack Hussein Obama so musical, deceased...now all we need is to find some dead person who has a copy of a long form birth certificate for zero. Whoops! That would have been Madelyn.
Has Obama ever traveled under the name “Barry Soetero”?
Has Obama ever traveled under a foreign passport?
How did Obama PAY for his college tuition, room, and board, and how did Obama pay for all of his travels?
I was using "Black" in the sense of a "race", not just a color. All the ones I've seen looked "Negro", even if they were "still all pink".
Hawaii has a minority white population and white-Polynesian relationships were probably not uncommon in 1961.
Neither were white-Japanese or white Chinese. But black-white.. very unusual.Yes but in all probability, mother and child did not present the picture of a lily white mother nursing a fully pigmented black baby you are probably envisioning.
I'm not envisioning any such thing, although Stanley Ann was pretty much a paleface. I also doubt she nursed, although it's possible. It was not "in fashion", and was frowned on in proto-feminist circles. For example, my mother did not nurse either me or my younger brother, he was born in '56. But my mother-in -law nursed her younger children, but not her older ones. They were born from '50 through '63, IIRC.
Excellent clarification. Thanks for posting and pinging me on it.
I guess it means the document is ‘proof’ as long as it isn’t a forgery...

A certified copy of a birth certificate is proof only that a birth occurred and was recorded.

I was supporting your response to him.
Completely, totally false. I worked with many US citizens who travelled back and forth to Lahore and Rawalpindi frequently between 1980-83. Travel by US citizens to Pakistan in that period was never impeded, not for one second, by either the US or Pakistan.
