There used to be a libtard anti gun group here in Michigan that used the same tactic of doing it for the children. They called themselves “People who care about children”.

They used the same pathetic tactic of claiming that only people who didn’t care about kids wanted to allow the demon guns to roam free in our society.

Maybe that's where Hillary heard it.

I cannot remember anyone in the 50's behaving as if they had a right to control someone else.

>> They don’t want anyone to quit.

Bingo! Ain’t it great when they tax the lower classes?

I can’t believe that so few people have caught on to the scam.

A local smoke shop here is selling a house blend of “pipe tobacco” with a fine cut that works just fine for rolling cigarettes. It gets around the loose cigarette tobacco tax and brings the price back down to where it was before the 2200% increase.

My neighbor said he’s going to mention it to the smoke shop near his place in florida when he gets back down there. Apparently the smoke shop here is doing a booming business with the so called pipe tobacco. LOL

I love these threads. It gives me the chance to post to smokers here about the little fun device called the E-Cigarette.

Today is my 4th week without smoking after 30 years, and I never even expected to quit. I was going to grow my own tobacco, but the seeds never came up. I went to this site..
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com
And took the plunge.

Here’s a few threads on it.

Please read and enjoy.
You see, unlike SOME people..
I refuse to belittle those who smoke and praise an increase of taxes on a product because, “It doesn’t effect me, so I don’t care.”
I’m pinging you folks to make the friendly suggestion that there is an alternative out there.
And...

It’ll put a kink into Obama’s plans.

(Pinging others who’ve switched)

Entrepreneurial spirit at it's best!

Actually that's when Americans are at their best, during adversity.

BTW, Here's my ecig collection so far:

And I print out little cards to give folks. I've gone through 4 sheets in 3 weeks.

The forum website is on the backs of the cards.

It will require a whole new law which buys a couple of years anyway.

I've got three varieties, Common smoking, Burley and Virginia. And I have about 50 more
seedlings that I'm trying to get rid of because there's no more room.
I've planted myself into a corner.

Virginia and Havana is what I usually grow. I have grown some Monte Calme Yellow as well, but the year I tried that was really wet and things did not turn out so well. Common Smoking is one I haven’t heard of, but that’s not saying much, there are thousands of variaties out there. I try to just grow one variaty each year as to keep from any cross pollenation occuring. It’s alot of work, but I love sticking to ‘em. The plants are beautiful. Have about 100 out this year. Good luck with your crop this year.

EXCELLENT. Tell us all on FR how you found freedom in addiction.

Sure. As soon as you tell us all how you can find such joy from increases in taxes.
I notice that your opinion is vastly outnumbered on these tobacco threads, BTW. Gives me great hope that the majority view on this subject isn't gone into oblivion.

I wonder if you would have complained about Bostonians being addicted to tea, and cheering the tax increases of THAT leafy substance as well.

Here's what counts: 307 - 97

And I noticed you didn't tell us how you found freedom in addiction.

In many places a “tax” requires a super majority while a “user fee” does not. Don’t know about Florida.

All the tax money and user fees collected on tobacco products all go to fund programs that will not disappear if everyone quits using tobacco products. Where will the money come from to fund those programs then?
