Maybe not, but as someone with a decades long involvement with Indonesia, and a part time resident there even now, I can tell you that Indonesia does not issue Indonesian Passports to non-Indonesian citizens. Nor does it issue Kartu Pendudks to them.

And no doubt that is true. So the question becomes how do we know that he had either a passport or an identity card? Where would he have had to produce one, as a child under 10? If Soetoro said Obama was a citizen, where would he have had to show documentation to prove it?

For school registration. And, for the record, his school registration documents list Barry as “Warga Negara: Indonesia”. For those not familiar with Indonesian that translates as “Citizenship: Indonesia”

His documentation to enter Indonesian school. It has been posted several times. Interestingly, it shows citizenship as Indonesian, religion as muslim (not that I think Barry has any religion, just shows he was brought up muslim)
