Oh, everyone calm down. When has a war ever been started by an attack on Hawaii?

Oh. Yeah, OK, that one.

That aside, I personally feel a lot safer now that 0bama has cut the unnecessary, ineffective, and provocative anti-missile program and sent the money we saved by not developing a technology against a threat that nobody has, to defend against the real threat, a Republican election victory, by giving the money to community activists such as ACORN. Can't say just how much better I feel.

Seriously, we might ask 0bama's administration one question - if they had had their way, would there even be assets to deploy? I'm sure they'll get right back to us on that one.

Obama and Congress have not eliminated missile defense probrams.

Certain high-end programs were canceled (KEI, Multiple-Kill Vehicle) or funded less (Airborne Laser)

Other more proven programs actually got increased funding (Navy Aegis BMD, and the Army THAAD.)
