district’s petition for review of an October 2002
federal appeals court decision in Sypniewski’s
favor.

The case, Sypniewski v. Warren Hills
Board of Education, arose when Sypniewski
sued school officials—with the help of CIR and
Gerald Walpin of New York ’s KMZ Rosenman—
after he was suspended for wearing the Tshirt
to school.
