He was on Glenn Beck yesterday and seemed completely lucid and on the ball to me. He also explicitly stated he wasn’t going to take this lying down as he felt not reacting would have far reaching consequences regards the ability of IGs to do their jobs.

He was on the Laura Ingraham Show earlier this week and he seemed rational. I suppose there is always the possibility that he is capacities are fading. Still, there certainly must be a more compassionate way to relieve someone with such a condition.
