More from Walpin responding to Obama's claims. From Hot Air, Obama playing hardball on Walpin as key Dem calls foul. Referencing an interview with Politico:

............"Reached at his home in New York Tuesday night, Walpin called the allegations in the Eisen letter “absolutely amazing.”

“Anybody who’s heard me speaking more than I’m used to speaking on radio and TV in recent days, obviously under great pressure from what happened would clearly know that I know what I’m saying and what I’m doing and I’m not incoherent,” Walpin told POLITICO. “There’s nothing confusing about malfeasance and there’s nothing confusing about what appears to be the fact that they terminated me because I was doing my job because the White House wanted to protect people who proclaim they are friends of the White House.”"................

And more response by Walpin on the allegations, Ousted IG cited for behavior, absences from Washington

............."Reached for comment Tuesday, Walpin said there was "no merit" to the White House's statement about the May 20 meeting, saying that during that conference he had a "disagreement" with board members over the conduct of a case involving a nonprofit organization run by Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, an Obama friend.

"We had a disagreement," Walpin said. "They broke into what I was saying."

Walpin, who worked at the Corporation for National and Community Service, the agency that includes AmeriCorps, described the White House's description of his conduct as an attempt "to shore up what was otherwise a clear failure to provide any sort of reason for the termination."".............

I hope Congress does not let this go. This is outrageous what Obama is doing to someone who dared to challenge a friend of Obama's.
