Agreed. What I really find disconcerting is the near religious (can you say Obama?) reverence some seem to have for Palin, yet no one can articulate a good reason for her perceived superiority. It’s also some nebulous, vacant comment about her being one of “us”, common sense, a “real” American.

I’ve come to realize that to many, if you live in a municipality with population larger than your average apartment complex, you’re regarded as some sort of city dwelling alien with no concept of reality. This is the person that seems to be drawn to Palin worship the most heavily.

I can articulate the reasons for her perceived superiority, but it’s not the reasons they will acknowledge, like being a good dog fighter. People like that aren’t true conservatives, it is just a ticket to success for them. If they were real conservatives they would care about ethics. And when I say people, I mean Palin. I am not blaming those who have fallen for her sch-tick, just trying to wake them up.
